About Congressman Ted Deutch

From the Florida State Senate to the United States Congress, Ted Deutch has spent nearly a decade working for the people of Broward and Palm Beach counties.

A devoted Democrat with a record of bipartisan collaboration in Congress, he is now seeking re-election in Florida's newly-redrawn 22nd congressional district, which runs  from Fort Lauderdale north to Boca Raton and westward to communities like Parkland, Margate, and Coral Springs.

Ted is running for re-election to Congress in the hopes of continuing his efforts to:

  • Raise the minimum wage and help working families get ahead
  • Toughen background checks and crack down on illegal gun trafficking
  • Reduce big money in politics and protect voting rights
  • Strengthen Social Security and Medicare and promote affordability in health care
  • Protect our environment, including the Everglades and the Florida coast
  • Advance the security interests of the United States, Israel, and our allies
